A frightening morning

The incident happened Wednesday morning.
A lockdown at Hudson High School in Pasco County on Wednesday had some students in tears, fearing for their safety.

The lockdown was ordered after a student found a small-caliber bullet in the boy's bathroom and turned it over to a teacher. Pasco deputies searched the school and found nothing suspicious.

The situation also unnerved parents.

"It's the element we go through with our kids now," said parent Cheryl Ziegel. "We just gotta keep it safe."

"I'm a little nervous," said parent Roberta Decouer. "I couldn't get here quick enough."

The Pasco County School District has a zero-tolerance policy for weapons at school, and that includes bullets. Any student caught bringing a weapon to school can face expulsion.
